Purification Ritual
Begin by facing East
(where the Sun rises)
Breath deeply and rhythmically for a few seconds, when you are ready say
(either silently or aloud)
“Clan Chief of Air, blow my Spirit clean.” imagine a fresh breeze blowing from the East, feel the breeze around you clearing out impurities and leaving you fresh.
Turn to the South, and say;-
“ Clan Chief of Fire, burn my Spirit clean” imagine standing near to a campfire and feel the heat of the flames on your body, feel the heat melt away all impurities leaving nothing but Love and Light.
Turn to the West, and say;-
“Clan chief of Water wash my Spirit clean” Imagine a light, soft rain, cool and quenching the heat of the campfire, feel it washing away all the impurities of the day.
Turn to the North and say;-
“Clan Chief of Earth, draw my Spirit clean” imagine a slight pulling sensation from the Earth, and allow it to pull down all impurities back into the Earth.
Then say “Father Sky above protect me” Feel a great shield or bubble surrounding you and protecting you.
Then say “Mother Earth below nurture me” Feel strong but loving arms cradling and loving you like a child.
Then say “Great Mystery within me, guide me” Feel the guidance of the Divine within your own heart, Listen for a moment for any messages it has to give you, continue to breath rhythmically for a few more seconds then when you are ready return to normal consciousness.
